The Breastplate of Righteousness
Do you feel you’re too sinful to serve God? Do you struggle with a sense of unworthiness that hinders your communion with the Lord (that is, your prayer life)? Do you think you’re too unrighteous to fulfill God’s call on your life? The LORD has provided a piece of spiritual armor to set you FREE and empower you to serve effectively; it’s the breastplate of righteousness. This detailed sermon explains what the breastplate of righteousness is, why you need it and how to put it on.
Praise & Worship
Praise & worship is a type of prayer (communication with God) and falls under the category of “Hallowed Be Your Name” in the outline of the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13). ‘Praise’ is celebration and includes raving & boasting about God whereas ‘worship’ is adoration. Praising the LORD ushers in God’s presence whereas worship is the response to being in God’s presence. There are six benefits noted in the Scriptures to participating in this type of prayer on a daily basis.
Friendship with God
“Our Father in heaven” in the Lord’s Prayer refers to a type of prayer that involves simple communion with God since the believer is addressing God as his/her “Father.” ‘Father’ indicates familial relation and relationship requires communication, hence fellowship.
Christianity at its core is a relationship with the Creator, which is why the gospel is referred to as “the message of reconciliation.” You can cultivate an intimate relationship with the LORD where you’re in constant communion throughout the day. Paul referred to this as “praying without ceasing” and the “fellowship of the Holy Spirit.” This is the dimension of prayer wherein you relate to God as your best FRIEND (Exodus 33:11 & John 15:15).
How to be a DISCIPLE
Did you know there’s a difference between a Christian believer and a disciple? Every disciple of Christ is a believer, but not every believer is a disciple. However, every believer is called to be a disciple. A disciple is a “learner” of Jesus Christ; they never stop learning from the Lord. If they do, they cease being a disciple. This hour-long live audio sermon provides plenty of Scripture (conveniently cited on the screen) to help believers BE disciples and GROW as disciples.

This live sermon details 9 traits of a giant-killer as disclosed in David’s famous altercation with Goliath from 1 Samuel 17. The Power of (Biblical) MEDITATION

ETERNAL LIFE: What will it be Like?
The major benefit of Christianity — aside from reconciling with your Creator — is acquiring eternal life, which begs the question: What will eternal life be like? Historically, Christian leaders have answered this question by saying believers “go to heaven forever” and left it at that. But the Scriptures, thankfully, go into more meaningful detail. Check out this live sermon and find out straight from the God’s Word how exciting eternal life will be! Understanding how awesome the perpetual age-to-come will be will help you overcome this temporal evil age.
God PROVIDES
Where God guides, God PROVIDES. This sermon is a balanced biblical look at provision, money and “prosperity.” The Bible shows that poverty is a curse and prosperity is a blessing. And it’s God’s will to provide for you so that you can effectively fulfill your assignment and call, whatever they may be.
Christ emphasized that you cannot serve God and Mammon while Paul said that the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Thus we want to make sure that we are loving & serving the LORD and not money. This is a given. But it doesn’t negate the importance of finances/provision in your life. For instance, you can’t help provide for others if you aren’t first provided for yourself. You can’t bless others materially unless you are first blessed.
Please don’t stumble over the word “prosperity.” Prosperity is relative to your God-given mission and environment. Joseph, for instance, was a slave in Potiphar’s house and a prisoner in Egypt, but the Bible says he prospered in both environments despite the obvious limitations thereof.
